(Your) tools

Similar to choosing winter boots for snow, sandals for a hot summer day, beach shoes on a rocky coast, or mountaineering shoes for the mountains - you’ll likely need tools for your very own personal change journey.

Otherwise, it can quickly become a very frustrating experience.

The tools an be small things: maybe you’ll want to switch to working out early in the mornings. An obvious tool is the alarm clock. Less obviously, and equally important, you’ll likely need to form habits. So the habit of preparing everything the evening before can be your personal tool.

For others, ritual can be a tool. To-Do-lists in the workplace.

The list is as varied as your personal change journey. The important thing is to pick an adequate tool to the task. So maybe to necessarily snow boots on a beach in summer?

NB this was the last hike for those shoes. They retired with grace.
